Announcement Fine Clay Casting (Sand casting) and Toaster Oven vulcanized mold making tools for jewelry artists of all types, along with a unique selection of casting patterns. A selection of rings, charms, earrings, pendants, and findings all cast in jewelers bronze, tumbled and polished. Quality products available exclusively from DIY Castings. My normal turnover time is 1 - 3 days on most items. The only supplier of Red Clay, a special fine detail clay manufactured near Holland in one of the oldest foundries known and then mixed here in Tucson, Arizona.

I also carry an extensive amount of sterling silver unfinished castings.

Fresh sterling silver casting grain.
Wax trees ready to be invested. Once the investment dries, these are put into a high temperature oven for burnout.
Sterling silver castings ready to be cut off, cleaned, and lightly tumbled.

Care instructions

CAUTION: Always wear safety glasses, a dust mask, and appropriate jewelry making clothing when working with hot metal and sand casting. Failure to do so could result in serious injury or worse.

* Breathing in smoke and fumes created once the molten metal has been poured is bad for the lungs as well as inhaling the dry talc powder. Always work in a well ventilated area.

* It is suggested that only adults (18 and over) purchase and use this equipment unless supervised by an adult.

* Customer assumes all risks when purchasing tools and supplies related to sand casting.
